Oishii Ramen Denver, aptly located at 1645 Stout St, offers a genuine culinary experience for ramen lovers. Customers rave about its authentic atmosphere, reminiscent of cozy noodle joints found in the alleys of Osaka. The menu is refreshingly simple, featuring six types of ramen and a handful of appetizers, allowing diners to focus on what's truly important: the flavor.
Reviewers, like Brett Littleton, highlight the “no-BS” approach to deliciousness, showcasing dishes like the spicy tonkotsu ramen, celebrated for its creamy, spicy broth, chewy noodles, and tender chashu pork. While some found the gyozas slightly underwhelming, the overall meal experience remains unparalleled, especially on a chilly day when paired with hot sake. Cory Moy encapsulates this sentiment beautifully: “Flawless meal experience.”
Oishii Ramen is not just a meal; it’s a journey through Japanese flavors, making it a must-visit for both seasoned ramen enthusiasts and newcomers alike. With a cozy seating arrangement that invites solo diners, it promises a welcoming environment alongside its unforgettable bowls of ramen. Don’t miss out on this local gem!

I went for lunch here during a recent conference taking place in downtown Denver. This was probably the best ramen I’ve had in Denver and the quality of the food was high. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and the gyozas as a side. Since I was the first customer to arrive, the restaurant took my order quickly and the food arrived reasonably fast. However, over time the space filled out and they only have a limited number of seats, so I assume you have to wait during peak hours on a busy day. The ramen was delicious, with a succulent and creamy but spicy broth, chewy noodles that were not too soft, and tender chashu pork. If I have anything to criticize, it would be that the gyozas were slightly forgettable (not bad either but definitely not the best I’ve had) and they don’t give you any condiments to customize the ramen.

Came to Denver on a work trip and ended up coming back 3 times because the ramen is so good. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

This is it. This is the most genuine ramen in the Denver metro. If you’re after a no-BS bowl of tasty noodles and a cold beer this is your spot. Been lucky enough to go to Japan a few times now and this place, while incredibly unassuming, is the closest I’ve found to ‘random noodle joint in a back alley of Osaka’ and it’s 100% worth a visit. I’ve had the spicy miso and black garlic tonkotsu ramen (pictured) and really enjoyed both. TBH nothing mind-blowing, just real good ramen. Place is a legit no-gimmicks mom-and-pops shop, complete with a very friendly Momma-San running the joint. Only seating is the U-shaped bar with 16 or 18ish seats. Only thing on the menu is a couple types of ramen, the staple appetizers, and some cold beer and sake. Nothing fancy at all. But, the whole is very much greater than the sum of the parts. I’ve been back a couple times since I tried it the first time, and I plan on coming back a little more often than I probably ought to. For real, check it out. It’s my new favorite ramen spot and that’s very much saying something. P.S.: It’s also a good spot for solo diners.

Excellent ramen, really solid sides and must-have Japanese beers in the fridge. The warm bowl of spicy ramen, pork belly buns, and hot sake on a cold night made my week! Order right from the counter and get your authentic meal moments later. 100% efficiency. Flawless meal experience.

Found a discrete ramen restaurant right by Magnolia Hotel on Stout downtown. Oishii Ramen was small but had the traditional Japaneses ramen restaurant feel and ambience. The menu was simple with 6 types of ramen, 6 types of appetizers and a fried rice, which made the decision easy. The soup of the tonkotsu ramen was flavorful, the noodles were springy and chewy, the pork belly was well marinated, soft and tasty, and the boiled half egg was delightfully sweet, salty and umami. Overall quite satisfying, certainly worth a detour from the thoroughfare.

The ramen was absolutely incredible and it was such a cool experience! Everyone was so nice and it was a great value for the quality as well. We actually come here every time we’re in Denver. I would highly recommend!

Went here with friends for dinner! Cozy and cute atmosphere with bar style seating arrangement. Perfect place for soup season! I ordered the Black Tonkotsu Ramen which was filling. The noodles were al dente and the broth was savory with a nice hint from the black garlic oil.

Oishii Ramen was a perfect choice on a cold night. The ramen was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor. The restaurant itself is open and spacious, and ordering was quick and easy, thanks to a helpful employee who offered great recommendations. The ramen arrived at just the right temperature so I could dig in immediately without worrying about burning my mouth, which was a nice touch. My only complaint is that I wish there had been a bit more food; the pork, broth, and noodles were all fantastic, but I have a feeling I could’ve polished off two bowls and been perfectly content. Overall, if you’re in the area and craving ramen, Oishii Ramen is definitely worth a visit. I’d go back, though I’m also looking forward to trying out other nearby ramen spots to compare.
